In 2023, a vehicle reservation is required for four areas of the park: Going-to-the-Sun Road, the North Fork, Two Medicine, and Many Glacier. Each location has unique details and requires a separate reservation.
This pilot program is an effort to reduce congestion, improve visitor experience, and protect park resources. When the vehicle reservation system is in effect, a vehicle reservation is required to access the Going-to-the-Sun Road Corridor and North Fork, Many Glacier, and Two Medicine Vehicle Reservation Areas.
Moose Creek Resort is located outside of GNP. A reservation with us will not help you gain entry into the park. Ticketed entry reservation is needed in addition to regular park admission.
Going-to-the-Sun Road is a winding, scenic mountain road that traverses Glacier National Park. It runs approximately 50 miles, from the east and west park entrance stations, crossing the Continental Divide in the process. Guided tours are available via the fleet of 1930s buses called "Red Jammers."
Start your journey with amazing scenic and wildlife viewing opportunities on your tour up Camas Road to the little explored North Fork region of Glacier National Park. Enjoy an easy and optional walk on the Huckleberry Mountain Nature Trail before your return trip through the spectacular burn areas from the fires of 2003. The tour concludes as you delve into the great cedar and hemlock forests that lie within the Lake McDonald Valley on your way to Sacred Dancing Cascade.

Who Are We?
We founded Glacier Guides in 1983 to provide ecologically sensitive backcountry guiding and interpretation in Glacier National Park. Back then, there were just three of us! Four years later we added rafting on our Wild and Scenic rivers. Hence: Glacier Guides and Montana Raft.
Rafting led us into fishing, and then we obtained a permit to guide on the Smith River, too. In 2010 we built Glacier Guides Lodge to give our guests an eco-friendly lodging option in West Glacier. Glacier Guides Guest House came along a few years later. Our newest move is guiding bike and e-bike tours of Glacier when the roads are closed to vehicle traffic. We thrive on change!
Enjoy our well-trained, fun, and friendly staff at Glacier Ziplines – North West Montana’s premier ziplining course! At Glacier Ziplines, we offer a 7-Zipline Canopy Tour.
Glacier Ziplines is located just west of Glacier National Park in Montana. We offer spectacular views of the Flathead River, Great Northern Railway, Badrock Canyon, as well as an occasional yeti sighting!
With unforgettable views as you zip through the trees, this is an adventure ride of a lifetime you won’t want to miss!
